March Gift Card Order

The March monthly gift card order will go in Monday March 8th and available for pick up at club the following Monday, March 15. Several incentives offered this month: TGIFridays 10%, LLBean 17%, JCPenney 6% & Fashion Bug 8%. Also most of Tops gas pumps will now accept gift cards – if the pump is not set up, you can still use the gift cards as cash at the booth.

BNCC Scholarship

Attention NFVB athletes….the 2010 BNCC Scholarship cover letter and application can be found online at the BNCC website. Here is the link: http://www.bnccsports.com/volleyball/.

The application deadline is February 24^th, 2010. Buffalo Niagara Court Center will be selecting 6 deserving NFVB athletes to receive the 2010 scholarship. All NFVB athletes are eligible!

Crazy Spandex Week Feb 15-18th

The Leadership Council members have deemed next week, “CRAZY SPANDEX WEEK.” From Monday, February 15th through Thursday, February 18th players can keep their practice tees and shorts at home. Players will be allowed to wear whatever they’d like to practice including the craziest spandex and most colorful tee shirts they can find. So don’t be “Miss Winter Blah” when you can be the “Queen of Color” on your court!

NFVB Travel Team schedules are now posted on each team’s roster page listed under the “teams” link above. On the roster page, scroll down and that team’s schedule (as of 2/3/2010) will be visible.

Schedules do change at times as the season goes on. We make every effort to update these as the season progresses. If you believe there’s an error on a particular schedule, please contact us using the form on the left of this page.

BNCC is OPEN tonight for practices

The BNCC will remain open tonight for regularly scheduled practices. We understand that West Seneca Schools cancelled evening activities due to the prediction of high winds after 5pm however, the sun is currently shining on the building.

As always NFVB will post practice cancellations on the NFVB web site before 3:00 pm that day. Please check the web for cancellations prior to calling the Buffalo Niagara Court Center. Thanks.

As always, use discretion when traveling and an absence from practice today will not count against you since we know other areas of WNY are not as bright.
