*All Travel players, ages 15-18 1’s and 2’s are required to sign up for an approved, 10 to 12 week training program beginning the second week of November. The cost of that training program is not included in the initial NFVB fees. The three approved training programs are: TREO (located at the BNCC), Proformance Sports (located in the former Pepsi Center @ UB), and Cutting Edge (located in Amherst). Any other program must be approved by contacting Gail at tylecg@roadrunner.com with written details and contact information from the site.

Note: Local Blue/Red teams may not be present at each age level. Blue and Red local team numbers are determined by registered players annually.
**11U and 10U players are encouraged to try out for the 12U travel and local teams on November 6th If not placed on a 12U travel or local team, you will be placed on the 11U/10U Developmental team and the $85 tryout fee will be applied to the $300 11U (or 10U) Team fee.

Inclusions:
Travel Teams: Practice time, coach’s expenses, uniform package, tournament entrance fees, administrative expenses, equipment, subscription to Prep Volleyball and USAV Registration.
Local Teams: Practice time, coaches expenses, uniform package, tournament entrance fees, administrative expenses, equipment and USAV registration
House Teams: Practice times, coaches expenses, administrative expenses, equipment t-shirt and USAV registration
Exclusions:
As a reminder, a $85 tryout registration fee is required to try out for any (travel, local, house) NFVB team. This fee is not included in the fee structure above, but is a separate fee to cover the costs associated with tryouts (WEVA registration, insurance, court rental, etc.). Please see the tryout page for more information.
Other exclusions: All travel costs: gas, hotel, food for all tournaments; possible airline tickets for distant qualifiers and nationals. Athletes/parents are responsible for arranging transportation to/from practices/tournaments, including the costs associated with those activities, like gas, lodging and food at tournaments; these are not included in the fee structure.
Payment Deadlines/Registration:
Travel Teams: Initial fee payment of $700 is due November 28th. This does not include the separate $85 tryout fee (Please make separate checks, both to NFVB Juniors). Remaining fee balance (refer to the team fee structure provided above) is due by January 1st. If a player is NOT placed on a travel team, the $85 tryout fee will cover their tryouts for the local teams.
Local Teams: This does not include the separate $85 tryout fee (Please make separate checks, both to NFVB Juniors). Entire fee (refer to the team fee structure provided above) is due by January 1st. If a player is NOT placed on a local team, the $85 tryout fee will cover their tryouts for the house teams.
Local 11U, 10U = $300 due Tues, Jan 3rd *(note: this is the whole amount for the season, no initial deposit for the 11’s and 10’s team is required and tryout fee (if paid at the 12U tryout) will be applied to your bill. We accept all 11U, 10U players that are NOT placed on a 12-1, 12-2, or 12 local team)
House Teams: Full amount ($300) due by Wednesday, December 21st. This does not include the $85 tryout fee which must be paid prior to tryouts.
Payments Details:
ONLY Checks or money orders will be accepted for payment (exception – the NFVB will accept cash payments for the $85.00 tryout fee ONLY on site!) Checks or money orders should be made payable to the NFVB and are due by the dates listed above.
- Please write your daughter’s name and birthdate on the check in the “memo” section.
- Please, no combined families paying for multiple players. You may combine final payment only for your own family payments for sisters, but clearly write their names and teams in the “memo” section.
- Payments should be placed in the secure FEE DROP BOX located outside the NFVB room in the back of the BNCC Facility, hanging on the wall at the base of the stairs, adjacent to court 1. Please place your checks (with or without envelope) in the fee box. Payments SHOULD NOT be handed to coaches at practice.
- Your cancelled check is your receipt. You will NOT receive a written receipt from the NFVB.
