Parents and athletes who use Facebook:
NFVB is on Facebook. We have both a:

Join our Group and Become a Fan:
We need those of you on Facebook to do two things:
- Join our Group – This provides general information about NFVB and is not intended to be a supplement to the website. However, Facebook is a “social networking site.” By joining our group, you will meet other NFVBers who are on Facebook. In this way, we can extend the interconnectedness of our social community. This is not simply for current NFVB athletes, coaches, and family members, but for all alumns, and for others who might want to be connected with current and former NFVBers.
- Become a Fan of Our FaceBook Page - Our Facebook page is set up to be a point of connection between Facebook and our website. As such, our Facebook page features an RSS Feed from our website. Thus, while your surfing your Facebook account, a quick glance at this page (listed, once you’re a “fan”, under your INFO tab on your PROFILE page), will show you any new posts on the NFVB website.
Why Both?
As noted above, both have different benefits. The Facebook Group is to connect current and former athletes, parents, coaches, and friends of NFVB. The Facebook Page is to provide a current source of information within your Facebook account, complete with an updated RSS feed straight from the NFVB website. This should help those of you who regularly utilize Facebook to keep in touch with NFVB’s latest happenings and updates.
We hope to see you on Facebook.
