2010 House League Survey

Below is the parent survey for the 2010 House League of NFVB, which completed its season on Sunday, April 11th.  We ask all parents to fill this out regarding their daughter’s experience  in the house league.

NFVB 2009 – 2010 House League

The NFVB House league is designed for in-house competition and will not travel to tournaments or compete against outside groups.  It will involve once-per-week, 45-minute training sessions along with 45-minute playing sessions.

More specific details include:

• House league will run from January 10th to April 4th, but not on SuperBowl Sunday (Feb 7) (12 total sessions)
• 10 players will be placed on a “team” and be assigned a coach.
• Sessions run 90 minutes (45 minutes of 2 teams sharing a court for training, followed by a 45-minute “match” between the teams)
• Sunday nights 6:30pm-8:00pm (13-15) and 8:00-9:30pm (16-18)
• Cost per player is $300
• Instructional portion of the 90 minute session will be formatted to promote development of sound skills through structured master coaching lessons developed by the master coach, Todd Kamenash.

Player selection for house league:

• Tryouts for house leagues will take place on Sunday, December 13^th.  Please read the tryout page for more information.
• Please note that players that did not make a local team must attend the house tryouts, but do not need to pay an additional tryout fee.
