For the past 13 years, Niagara Frontier has been part of the “Girls in Sports” program, a half day event developed by Mary Wilson through which inner city girls, ages 12 and under, are exposed to the benefits of sports and Title IX.  On Saturday, October 21st over 200 girls were bused to the University at Buffalo Alumni Arena (formerly held at Ralph Wilson Field House) where they participated in 8 different sports and were given a lecture on leadership. The Niagara Frontier Volleyball Club hosts and runs the volleyball station.  Once again, the NFVB players that volunteered as coaches made our station a huge success!!  Special thanks to Coach Billie Tylec for running the station with with former NFVB coach Gail Tylec!
