On Saturday, September 21st, NFVB’s Ali Farmer volunteered the day to serve as a coach at the “Girls in Sports” event that was held at Niagara University.  This program was developed by Mary Wilson in 2005 to offer inner city girls, ages 12 and under, an exposure to the benefits of various sports and Title IX.  This was the first outreach event to be held in Niagara County.  NFVB will be facilitating the Erie County event on November 2nd, to be held at the University at Buffalo.  If you would like to volunteer, please contact Gail Tylec at tylec@niagaracc.suny.edu.  Thanks!!
