Abby Ryan, touted as one of the best players in Western New York and trained by Niagara Frontier Volleyball since she was in our 12U program, hit a significant milestone in her high school career last week as a Quaker in Orchard Park.  1000 kills!  This accomplishment is not a surprise to many in our club as Abby has always been a stand-out athlete, contributing to many of our Navy team successes and accomplishments the last 5 years.   To boot, Abby has surpassed the previous record holder at Orchard Park for most kills. in her career.

“More and more every year we’ve relied on her to get big kills and she’s probably one of the best hitters in the area and maybe in the state,” said coach Greg Lardo . “It’s easier to coach when you have her to throw the ball to and she can get you out of a lot of problems. She hits her way out of a lot of problems for us.”

Abby has chosen to commit to the Division 1 volleyball program at Robert Morris University in 2020.  Congratulations, Abby Ryan! Niagara Frontier Volleyball is proud of you!
