Preparing to Re-Open...

By Rocco Lucci, 05/29/20, 2:45PM EDT

Niagara Frontier is excited about the opportunity to bring volleyball back to our kids. We firmly believe it’s important to maintain the highest standards for safety and health during this tenuous time of reopening our society. Niagara Frontier has been working in collaboration with sports facilities, colleges, recreation departments, national organizations, and medical professionals to create a comprehensive re-opening plan. Under guidelines from the Federal, State and Local government, as well as the CDC, we are excited to prepare our gym for a July opening!

Over the next few weeks, you will see our comprehensive facility re-opening plan on the Niagara Frontier website. Families will be notified when the information is available online. Please take some time to review these documents as we prepare for our athletes, coaches and staff to return safely to the gym.

We plan to start hosting some volleyball training sessions on Monday, July 6th. This will be the first time the volleyball courts will be used since our closing back in March. Any small group sessions (numbers to be determined by the local government) through the month of July will be FREE OF CHARGE for players who were on our teams this past season. Individual private lessons will also be available as time and staff permits.

The Niagara Frontier team is developing an on-line registration system in order to maximize opportunities to participate. We will notify families when this registration system is available on the website. Our small group and private lesson settings will allow athletes, coaches and staff to familiarize themselves with new policies/procedures and become comfortable getting back on the courts.

Thank you again for your support of Niagara Frontier. These are extraordinary times and we believe strongly that youth sports can help us in our recovery. Let's bring volleyball back to our communities together.
