Before Brittany was a volleyball coach at Niagara Frontier Volleyball, she dreamed of being a comedy writer for late night television. Growing up, she idolized Conan O’Brien, ended up going to college for Creative Writing, and even did a few stand up comedy open mics around Buffalo. However, things changed a bit when she found her new passion, skydiving, and the demands of the sport quickly became a priority in her life. She shifted her focus from writing to jumping, and worked her way up to becoming a skydiving instructor. Through all this she kept her interest in comedy, and in November she applied to be a guest on Conan O’Brien’s podcast, “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend,” to talk about skydiving. Within a week, Brittany found herself being auditioned by one of Conan’s producers, and then three days later, she was talking to the man himself. Brittany and Conan chatted over Zoom for what would become the podcast episode called, “Thinking about Stew,” which you can listen to here or wherever you get your podcasts. There is also a short video clip of the interview on YouTube. Nothing like things coming full circle!

Congratulations, Brittany!  You make NFVB proud!
