Hey NFVB Nation!

Here’s our Blog Agenda:

1. Great Job
2. World Teen Mental Wellness Day
3. Color Week
4. March QOTM

Congratulations and great job to all of our teams that competed last weekend.

World Teen Mental Wellness Day is recognized this week on March 2. As a club, we want to recognize World Teen Mental Wellness Day and remind you all that your mental health is just as important as your physical health. As athletes, it's easy to get caught up in the pressure to perform and meet expectations, but it's important to take care of your mental well-being too. Don't be afraid to speak up if you're feeling overwhelmed or stressed. NFVB is here to support you, both on and off the court. Let's use this day, month, and year to prioritize our mental health and spread awareness about the importance of taking care of ourselves.

Our color week this month will be March 11 - March 15 - we would like to fill the gym with green due to St. Patrick’s Day being that upcoming weekend!

Our March Quote of the Month is the following:

Serena Williams once said, "It doesn’t matter what your background is and where you come from, if you have dreams and goals, that’s all that matters." This quote is especially relevant in the world of volleyball and in our gym at NFVB, where players come from all walks of life but share a common love for the sport.

Volleyball is a game that requires perseverance, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, your background doesn't matter as much as your drive to succeed. If you have a dream of playing at a higher level, whether that's making the varsity team, playing in college, or even going pro, you can achieve it with hard work and dedication.

One of the most important things for volleyball players to remember is that success isn't just about individual achievement. Volleyball is a team sport, and every player has a role to play in the team's success. You need to work together with your teammates to achieve your goals.

In order to do this, it's important to have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn from your mistakes. Volleyball is a game of ups and downs, and even the best players make mistakes. But by focusing on what you can do better next time, you can turn those mistakes into opportunities for growth.

Finally, it's important to remember that volleyball is a game that should be enjoyed. While it's important to work hard and strive for success, it's also important to have fun and enjoy the journey.
