In honor of International Women's Day, we want to celebrate the incredible women who have paved the way in volleyball. From legends like Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings to up-and-coming stars like Jordan Larson and Haleigh Washington, women have made an indelible mark on the sport.
This day is about more than just celebrating past achievements. It's about looking towards the future and empowering the next generation of female athletes. It's important to recognize that every girl has the potential to be a volleyball star - regardless of her background, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.
So today, let's make a commitment to support and uplift the female athletes and coaches in our program. Let's encourage them to dream big and work hard towards their goals. And let's celebrate their successes, both on and off the court. To all the amazing females out there - from the trailblazers to the rising stars - we salute you. Happy International Women's Day!
February Athletes/Coaches of the Month
We have A LOT of athletes and coaches within NFVB nation that deserve recognition (too many to count!) Each month we’d like to recognize those that especially stood out to coaches and staff members. We are recognizing one girls coach, one boys coach, & one athlete per age group on the boys and girls side.
