Congratulations to 13 Navy for placing 3rd at the North East Qualifier on 4/8-4/10!  What an amazing weekend for some of our youngest athletes!

Here is a quote from Coach Cathy Hummel:

To get into semi finals we had to overcome an 8 to 1 deficit in the third set.  The girls grew both as people and as athletes this weekend.  They learned how to grind their way out of difficulty, overcome personal volleyball mistakes, and face great opponents on their way to a third-place finish. 

They have always been great teammates to each other and this weekend proved that with collective participation and total team support, great things can happen. 

I am super proud of all the girls.  Thanks to the parents for all their support of the girls (and coaches) this weekend.  NFVB nation should be proud of their efforts...I know I am!
